1. Overview

Memories to Melodies (“M2M,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) creates custom, one-of-a-kind songs inspired by your stories. By purchasing or commissioning a song, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

2. What You’re Buying

You are commissioning a custom creative work — a personalized song written, produced, and delivered based on the details you provide through our online form or consultation. Each song is delivered as a digital audio file (e.g., MP3 or WAV), and may include lyric sheets and artwork depending on your chosen package.

3. Ownership & Usage Rights

M2M retains full copyright and publishing rights to all music and lyrics created through our service. You receive a personal license to use, share, and display your song for non-commercial purposes such as personal enjoyment, social media, and private events.

If you wish to use your song commercially (e.g., in advertising, monetized videos, streaming, or resale), you must request a separate written license. Unauthorized commercial use may result in legal action.

4. Creative Process & Discretion

By submitting your story, lyrics, or other creative materials, you grant M2M full creative discretion to interpret your submission and produce the final song in a manner consistent with your chosen mood, package, and artistic direction. While we strive to honor your vision, creative interpretation remains part of the artistic process.

5. Refund Policy

Because each project is a custom-made creative work, all sales are final once songwriting or production begins. Cancellations made before production starts may be eligible for a partial refund at M2M’s discretion.

6. Revisions

Each package includes the revision scope listed at purchase. Additional or extensive changes beyond that scope may incur an additional fee. Revisions are intended to refine the creative outcome — not to request a full rewrite.

7. Sharing & Promotion

If you select “Yes” to Sharing Your Song With the World, you grant M2M permission to feature your completed song, story excerpts, or visuals on our website, social media, and promotional materials — always handled with respect and context. You may revoke this permission at any time by contacting us in writing.

8. Delivery Times

Turnaround times are estimates and may vary based on creative complexity, production volume, and communication response times. “Rush” options prioritize production scheduling but do not guarantee specific delivery dates for streaming or distribution.

9. Limitation of Liability

M2M is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our products, including lost profits, emotional distress, or data loss. Our total liability under these terms will not exceed the total purchase price of your order.

10. Intellectual Property Submissions

By sharing materials such as lyrics, stories, or melodies, you confirm that you hold the necessary rights to those materials. You grant M2M a non-exclusive license to use them solely for the purpose of creating your custom song.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oklahoma, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
